In May, 2003, I was invited to participate in the America 24/7 photography book project. I teamed with 19 other professional photographers to cover the state of Kansas, joining with thousands of other photographers nationwide to visually document one week-in-the-life of America. Considered the largest digital photographic project in history at the time, the resulting book "America 24/7," resulted in 25,000 photographers from across the country shooting more than a million pictures.

I spent the majority of the week covering several areas around Kansas. During the final days of the shoot, I was also able to photograph in Alaska during the start of a vacation. Two of my Kansas photographs were featured in the "American 24/7" book. Several other images were published in the "Kansas 24/7" and "Alaska 24/7" books.
